EGIL
Who are we?
Founded in response to the educational gaps created by the pandemic, EGIL ("eagle") is dedicated to mentoring and tutoring elementary-aged students.
We focus on bridging academic disparities while also nurturing students’ social development. Through personalized academic support and mentorship, we empower children not only to succeed in their studies but also to build confidence, communication skills, and positive relationships. Our mission is to help every child thrive, both academically and socially, in a supportive and engaging environment.
Target Students?
We serve K-6 students. Our top priority is to cater to every unique students needs whether they are a tactile learner, group learner, digital learner, etc.
Why EGIL?
Using research and personal experience to guide us, EGIL was shaped to address every unique students' needs. Refer to the research articles that helped mold EGIL as a 501(c)3 nonprofit here.
Where?
We are currently partnered with Pony Express Elementary School in the greater Sacramento, CA region. We participate in both in-person and virtual activities.
